For generations, new parents were cared for by family, community, and experienced guides who understood that recovery after birth deserved time, support, nourishment, and attention. Today, many families are expected to recover, care for a newborn, manage a household, and return to life as usual with very little support.

We believe families deserve better.

The Liberated Birth was created to help bring postpartum care back to what it was always meant to be: support that is practical, grounding, evidence-based, and deeply rooted in community care.

But this work is not only about supporting families. It is also about supporting the doulas who care for them.

We are building more than an agency. We are building community. A village. A space where doulas feel supported too. We gather together, eat together, laugh together, learn together, and grow together. We understand that doula work can be beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and deeply personal, and we believe birth workers deserve support just as much as the families they serve.

This is postpartum care the Liberated Birth way.
