The Liberated Birth is a maternal health platform centered around pregnancy, birth, postpartum, education, and community. Through postpartum support, childbirth education, storytelling, and accessible resources, our goal is to help families feel more informed, supported, and connected throughout one of life's biggest transitions.

Birth Matters.

Part of our beliefs about birth come from those we’ve indirectly experienced through our family, friends’ and society’s stories and feelings about birth. If a family member had a traumatic birth experience, it may be safe to say that when you ask for advice as you prepare for childbirth, they may respond with a bit of bias or opinions that are centered in their own trauma.

When we consider what is true about reproductive health and birth, it becomes clear that along the way many of us have not had access to the right information when making decisions regarding our own bodies and birth experience. This can result in a lack of trust in ourselves, and this lack of trust can lead to fear-based decision making.

The Liberated Birth was created to make the journey through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum easier—not just for families, but for the birth workers who support them. We understand the difficulties that comes with this work, and we believe that no one should have to carry it alone.
That’s where LibBi comes in. LibBi is a straightforward, ready-to-use childbirth and postpartum education tool designed to simplify things for birth workers.
