Come on in. Sit down.

Welcome to The Living Room

Truthfully, we almost called this a blog.

But “blog” felt too sterile. Too internet-y. Too much like perfectly packaged thoughts created to chase clicks and disappear into the void five minutes later.

The Living Room felt more honest.

Because living rooms are where people actually talk.

It’s where somebody ends up crying unexpectedly in the middle of a conversation. It’s where people overshare. It’s where advice gets passed around casually. It’s where someone says, “Wait… nobody told me that happened after birth.” It’s where people laugh until they can’t breathe. It’s where people finally admit they’re tired.

That’s the energy we wanted here.

Not perfection.
Not performance.
Not curated motherhood.

Just real conversations about birth, postpartum, parenting, identity shifts, culture, healing, and the strange, beautiful chaos that comes with caring for tiny humans while trying to hold onto yourself too.

Some posts will teach.
Some will rant a little.
Some will probably step on toes.
Some may feel like conversations you’d have at 1 AM in somebody’s kitchen.

But all of it will be real.

So… welcome to The Living Room.
